Apartment Giotto is a small apartment located in the center of Florence, just steps away from Giotto’s Campanile. After a recent renovation, this historic building was revealed to house the workshop of famous artists Donatello and Michelozzo. A historic marker on the building reads, “... that in these walls, like brothers, the sculptors practiced and refined their trade”. Traces of doorways and windows have been uncovered that date back to the antique “Tower Houses” of the 1200s.
The Giotto apartment is 25 m2 in size, and has a main room with a double murphy bed, table, closet and bookshelf. The kitchenette is complete with all necessary appliances (fridge-freezer, microwave oven, electric hotplates, dishes, American coffee maker, and more).
The bathroom has a shower and bathtub.
